Asmita Pencak Silat Women’s League 2025 Concludes with Enthusiasm and Excellence

The two-day Asmita Pencak Silat Women’s League 2025 concluded on 19th November with great enthusiasm at the Indoor Stadium Budgam. The event witnessed overwhelming participation from women athletes, who displayed exceptional skill, discipline & sportsmanship throughout the league.

The Opening Ceremony was graced by Professor (Dr.) Muhammad Amin Malik, Principal, Government Degree College Budgam, who attended as the Chief Guest. He praised the efforts of the organizers for promoting women empowerment through sports & applauded the athletes for their dedication and spirited performances. The competition drew a large gathering of dignitaries, teachers, parents & sports enthusiasts.

Around 250 athletes representing various schools & clubs competed across Singa, Maccan, Pre-Teen, Sub-Junior, Junior & Senior categories. Their bouts truly reflected the core values of Pencak Silat respect, self-control & perseverance.

Organized by the District Budgam Pencak Silat Association, the league highlighted the Association’s commitment to encouraging martial arts among women and youth. President Miss Saima Jan appreciated the efforts of all participants & motivated them to continue striving for excellence.

The Asmita Women’s League 2025 stood as a strong symbol of courage, unity & empowerment.
