Athar Aamir Ul Shafi Khan assumed charge as a new Municipal Commissioner SMC

SRINAGAR, MAR 01 : Athar Aamir Ul Shafi on Monday assumed charge as the Commissioner of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) after he got ist posting in J&K Cadre now AGMUT cadre. 
An official said that Athar after assuming charge held a meeting with officials of the corporation and asked them to provide hassle-free services to the people.
“The meeting was attended by all senior officials of the corporation, including ward officers, he said. 
During the meeting, the Commissioner was briefed about the vital functions of the SMC, including building permissions, birth and death certification, works division, revenue department and streetlights, he added. 
Athar assued instructions to ensure time-bound duties in a transparent manner and provide hassle-free services to the citizens,” he added.
