Awareness workshop for registered artisans & weavers held at UdhampurUDHAMPUR, NOVEMBER 27: A day long workshop for registered artisans and weavers was organised by the Handicraft Department here under the supervision of Assistant Director Handloom and Handicraft N D Verma.During the workshop, the experts sensitized the registered artisans and weavers  about benefits of registration with GeM portal, allotment of GST number and Pan card.The participants were also made aware about the latest design and packaging techniques. The artisans and weavers put forth the  problems being faced by them. The same were also discussed and resolved in the workshop.
