Srinagar 10 Mar 2018
Barring south Kashmir districts, educational institutions opened after three month long winter break in Kashmir valley on Saturday.
In south Kashmir, the schools will open on Monday, March 12.
The schools up to higher secondary level resumed their class work with students thronging back to schools.
At most of the places across Kashmir, children were seen dressed in their school uniforms waiting for their school buses at bus stops.
From certain places especially summer capital Srinagar, there were reports of traffic jams with added rush of school buses on the roads.
The authorities delayed opening of schools against schedule on March 5 after tension grew in Kashmir against the killing of four civilians in army firing in Pahnoo area of Shopian.
