Baramulla 29 July : Bayat Ul Salaam conducts hussaini mushayirah in collaboration with baramulla writers guild. The symposium was attended by prominent poets from all over Kashmir. The event started with the recitation of Quran by Salman Farooq, followed by a naat recited by Umais Nazir. Umais Nazir and his friend also recited a group Maqabat. Dr. Nazir Mehdi, chairperson of Bab ul salaam, presented the inaugural address and welcome note. Ab khaliq Parvez, Ak Shamas, Tamil Bashir, Majroh Kashmiri, Tousif Raza, Shahzad Manzoor, Wani Mudasir, and Mudasir Maqbool also participated in the symposium. The symposium was presided over by Walley’s prominent literary icon and poet Tanha Nizami, and the presidium was shared by Ab khaliq Shamas and Khaliq Parvez. In his presidential address, Tanha Nizami said, “Husain (AS) is always a guide for the whole mankind. I congratulate Bab ul salaam and Baramulla Writers Guild for conducting such an interesting and spiritually rich symposium.” The symposium was compared by Athar Bashir.
