Bihar Legislative Assembly Committee on Minority Welfare calls on Sakina Itoo, Advisor to CM

Srinagar, May 18: The Committee on Minority Welfare of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, led by its Chairman Akhtarul Iman, today called on Minister for Health & Medical Education Sakina Itoo and Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani during its visit to Jammu and Kashmir.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the developmental scenario in Bihar and Jammu and Kashmir, with particular focus on welfare initiatives, healthcare, education and issues concerning minority communities.

Matters of mutual interest, as well as avenues for strengthening cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two regions, were also discussed.

The visiting delegation appreciated the developmental initiatives and governance measures being undertaken in Jammu and Kashmir. Both sides emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts for inclusive growth and welfare of the people.
