JAMMU, Jun 19 : The BJP’s Kashmir Displaced District (KDD) unit on Friday held a series of meetings with district administrations across the valley, seeking the removal of encroachments on properties belonging to Kashmiri Pandits and a dedicated grievance redressal camps for displaced employees of the community.
The party’s KDD unit in a statement reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the rights, properties and welfare of the Kashmiri Pandit community.
A delegation led by KDD president Rajeev Pandita met deputy commissioners and senior revenue officers in several districts to press for resolution of long-pending issues concerning displaced and non-displaced Kashmiri Pandits. ( PTI )
