Jammu, Feb 4 (KNC): All Bhartiya Janta Party legislators on Wednesday staged a walkout from the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, alleging that the Speaker was not allowing them adequate time to raise their issues during the proceedings.
As per news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC), BJP MLAs said they were repeatedly seeking the Speaker’s permission to speak on important matters but were not given an opportunity. The members expressed strong resentment over what they termed as discriminatory conduct, stating that their voices were being deliberately ignored.
Following the alleged denial of time, the entire BJP legislature party walked out of the House in protest, disrupting the proceedings. The BJP members demanded fair treatment and equal opportunity for all legislators to present their concerns on the floor of the House. (KNC)
