A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader was found dead with throat slit in Kiloora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday.

An official said that the body of Gowhar Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Bonagam Shopian was found today evening with throat slit.
SSP Shopian Shri Ram said they were investigating the incident from all angles.
Sources said that Bhat was the Shopian District Youth President of the party.
