Black Bear Captured Alive, Released into Natural Habitat in Kulgam’s Pahloo

Kulgam, Aug 20: A black bear was captured alive and subsequently released into its natural habitat in the Pahloo area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said.

An official said the Wildlife Control Room Devsar received information about a black bear roaming near a residential area in Pahloo. Following the information, a cage was installed by the wildlife team to safely capture the animal.

The bear was successfully trapped alive and later released into its natural habitat, the official added.
