Bomb Scare on IndiGo Flight at Kolkata Airport; Passengers Safely Deboarded

Kolkata, Feb 14: Panic briefly gripped Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport on Saturday morning after a bomb threat was reported on an IndiGo flight bound for Shillong in Meghalaya.

Airport authorities confirmed that all passengers were safely deboarded and a thorough security search operation was immediately launched. The aircraft was moved to an isolation bay as a precautionary measure after a threat note was обнаружed onboard.

The flight, IndiGo 6E-3074, was scheduled to depart at 9:15 am for Shillong when the security alert was triggered. Bomb disposal and security teams were rushed to the spot, and comprehensive checks of the aircraft and baggage are currently underway.

Airport officials said standard safety protocols were being followed and that there was no immediate threat to passengers or airport operations. Further details are awaited as investigations continue.
