Srinagar, Jan 19: The books of prominent Kashmiri writer, poet, dramatist, humorist, translator and journalist Mohammad Yousuf Shaheen were formally released in Srinagar.
The two titles unveiled on the occasion were “Suye Doodh Chhem Jigras”, a Kashmiri translation of short stories by Wahshi Saeed, and “Yeli Shaam Gachh”, a compilation of Shaheen’s radio and television plays.

The release was described by literary circles as a significant addition to the growing body of Kashmiri language and literature.
Warm felicitations were extended to Mohammad Yousuf Shaheen, with hopes expressed for his continued creative contributions to Kashmiri letters.
