BSF camp attack: Trooper succumbs, toll three

A Border Security Force (BSF) trooper injured during a militant attack on Tuesday has succumbed, taking the death toll to three.

Two militants were killed and four security personnel injured when militants stormed 182 Bn BSF camp in Humhama area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

An injured BSF succumbed to his injuries, said an official.

As the militants entered the camp’s administrative block, they were surrounded by the forces, according to the police.

“It was a suicide attack. Two militants have been killed while an operation against other holed-up militants inside the camp is ongoing,” he said.
