Police Seized 02 tippers and 01 JCB involved in illegal excavation and transportation of minerals,
Police party of police station Khansahab intercepted and Seized 02 tippers loaded with minerals and one JCB involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals. The accused drivers identified as:- Bilal Ahmad Ganie son of Mohd Sultan resident of Sholipora Budgam, Shahid Ahmad Ganie son of Abdul Ahad resident of Sholipora Budgam, Muneer Ahmad Bhat son of Nazir Ahmad Bhat resident of Parisabad. managed to escape from the spot leaving behind the vehicles. Registration numbers of Seized tippers are JK01M 5684, JK04E 4668.
In this regard, Case FIR number 51/2022, under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Khansahab and investigation set into motion. The search for absconding persons is in progress.
Persons found indulging in illegal mining activities shall be dealt as per law. Community members are requested to share information regarding the crimes in their neighbourhood with their concerned police units.
