Srinagar, Oct 28: A special Caddies Tournament was organized today at the Kashmir Golf Club by Dr. Siraj Sahab, aimed at boosting the morale of caddies and recognizing their indispensable contribution to the golfing community.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with prizes distributed to all participants and a trophy awarded to the winning team. A golf wedge was also presented to the Caddie President in appreciation of his sincere efforts and commendable conduct. In a heartwarming gesture, the caddies expressed their gratitude by presenting a souvenir to Dr. Siraj Sahab.
Speaking on the occasion, members highlighted the importance of such activities within the club to keep the spirit of golf alive and to foster camaraderie among players and caddies alike.
Among those present were senior KGC members including Dr. Siraj Sahab, Wajahat Khan, Ishfaq Siraj, Suhail Murtaza and Suhail Kirmani who lauded the initiative and praised Dr. Siraj’s efforts in promoting inclusivity and sportsmanship at the Club.
