The International Film Festival of Kashmir (IFFK), the oldest, finest and most prestigious film festivals in the region, is preparing for its highly anticipated 6th & 7th edition. Since its inception in 2007, the festival has established itself as a leading platform for showcasing diverse cinematic talent from around the world, with its 2014 edition marking a significant mark by receiving over 1,000 entries from more than 70 countries and after strict selection process screening 44 awesome films at SKICC Srinagar. With over 10 world premieres, the masterclasses were conducted by Mr. Gurmeet Singh (of Mirzapur fame) and renowned turkish filmmaker Selma Koksal amongst others, the 2014 event set records yet to be surpassed by any other film festival in Jammu and Kashmir.
6th International Film Festival is calling for entries till 10th feb 2026. The films can be of any duration produced in any language (if the language of film is other than English, Urdu, Hindi, Kashmiri, Dogri it needs to be subtitled) The selected films will be screened at the grand event in April 2026 in Srinagar.
