Budgam, December 13, 2024—Foundation World School, Budgam, hosted a distinguished visit by Mr. Arun Rajamani, Managing Director of Cambridge University Press and Assessment, South Asia. Renowned for his work in advancing digital literacy for educators and students, Mr. Rajamani also serves as an advisor to various education technology start-ups. His visit underscores Cambridge’s commitment to enhancing education in North India, particularly in the realm of digital and blended learning.

During an engaging session with the school’s faculty members, Mr. Rajamani discussed Cambridge’s expansion strategies in northern India and shared his vision for transforming the educational landscape. He emphasized Cambridge’s mission to be a trusted partner in the region’s education sector and highlighted the role of innovative practices in achieving this goal.

Joining Mr. Rajamani was Mr. Manish Doshi, Senior Vice President of Cambridge University Press and Assessment. Mr. Doshi elaborated on upcoming academic offerings and subjects that Cambridge plans to introduce, aiming to further enrich the curriculum available to partner institutions.

The session, held at the Multipurpose Hall (MUH) of Foundation World School, saw full attendance of faculty members. The interactive format included a vibrant question-and-answer segment, which provided valuable insights and practical guidance to the attendees.

The school leadership played a pivotal role in making the event a success. Mr. Mubashir Wafie and Mr. Suhail Bakhshi felicitated the distinguished guests. Mr. Ummer Sheriff, the Executive Head of the school, extended a warm welcome to the visiting dignitaries.

The visit concluded with a mutual commitment to fostering educational excellence and strengthening ties between Cambridge University Press and Assessment and Foundation World School. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in equipping students  across the region and educators with the tools and knowledge required for a dynamic future.
