Cash looted from Jammu and Kashmir bank manager in Shopian

Unknown persons on Monday morning looted cash from a J&K bank manager in Kapran village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

Quoting sources, said that a group of men stopped the bank manager traveling in his car (JK18-8375) at Kapran and looted around 6 lakh cash.

A senior police while confirming the incident said that a party from the concerned police station has been deputed to the spot to investigate the incident.

“Let the police record the statement of the bank manager and subsequently the investigation will be set into motion to nab the persons involved in the burglary,” the official said.
