Urges LG admin to ensure safety of Kashmiri students, businessmen outside J&K.

Srinagar, Nov 28 : Expressing serious concern over the assault on Kashmir Shawl hawkers in Ranchi Jharkhand, the Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kashmir (CCIK) has urged the LG administration to intervene into the issue and take up the matter with concerned Government.

CCIK president Tariq Rashid Ghani said such assaults on Kashmiris would prove detrimental for the students and the business community outside J&K.

Demanding the stern action against the culprits, CCIK urged the LG administration to ensure safety of Kashmir people earning the livelihood in different states.

“Such incidents if not stopped would create fear among the Kashmir people working in different states. No parent will send students or other family members outside for education or livelihood,” he said.

Ghani during winter months many Kashmiris move outside J&K and their safety is a serious concern in the wake of such incidents.
