The Central Government Pensioners Welfare Association Kashmir, held its due elections today which was necessary as per its constitution & also after the demise of its Founder president MS Pandit…General Body which met today in AMar Singh Club witnessed the smooth transition of reigns. Election Commissioner Mr.G Mohidin Bhat & Altaf Hussain declared the results in presence of all present members admits huge applause..Former Secretary Red cross Mr Kifayat Rizvi,IAS (R) & former ADG Doordarshan Dr Rafeeq Masoodi, IBS(R), were declared elected as president & vice president respectively.
Former Post MASTER GM Wani Dilshad & Former DIG Shaukat Malik were elected as General Secretary & Treasurer respectively while Ghulam Mohiuddin Bhat former program officer of Doordarshan was elected as Secretary .The body will have a 3 year term as per the constitution. The elected president took over imidaitely
