On the recommendation of the Superintendent Tihar Jail, the centre has restricted the physical movement of JKLF Chief Yasin Malik before a TADA Court in Jammu.

Pertinently, Malik had wished that he be presented before a special TADA court in Jammu for the cross-examination of prosecution witnesses in two cases viz. one related to the killing of four IAF officers and other related to the abduction of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed’s daughter Rubaiyya Sayeed, on October 19 and 20.

But on the recommendation of Superintendent Tihar Jail, Malik’s physical appearance was restricted by the centre today and hence, he was presented virtually in the court.

The next hearing in this case would be held on November 23.
