JAMMU, DECEMBER 8: Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.
During the hour-long meeting, Chief Minister informed the Governor about her recent district wise tours in the Valley, issues relating to growth and development, internal and external security situation, rural and urban local body elections and other important matters. She also briefed the Governor about the tentative schedule of the Budget Session in 2018.
Governor stressed the vital importance of ensuring the transparent and accountable functioning of the administrative system, eradication of inefficient and corrupt elements and early establishment of urban and grass root democratic institutions for promoting the welfare of people.
