Chief Minister orders probe into issuance of fake disability certificates in Bandipora

 BANDIPORA, DECEMBER 03: Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti today ordered probe into the allegation of issuance of fake disability certificates in Bandipora district over the years.
The matter came to surface during the day long Public Outreach programme Chief Minister convened here today.
A deputation of differently abled persons which came to meet the Chief Minister during programme raised the issue of fake disability certificates having been issued in the district and demanded an inquiry. They also sought construction of ramps in Government offices, educational benefits, review of reservation rules and availability of motorised cycles.
Mehbooba Mufti directed the Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora to conduct a thorough probe into the allegation of issuance of fake certificates in the District and asked him to furnish a report within the shortest possible time. She also assured the deputation to make some motorised cycles available to them.
