Will review ongoing relief, rehabilitation and restoration measures with district administration

Srinagar, Aug 5 : Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister is scheduled to visit Poonch district today to meet people affected by the recent floods and assess the damage and relief requirements first-hand.

During the visit, the Chief Minister will interact with affected families and take stock of the losses caused by the floods, an official told..

He will also chair a meeting with the district administration to review the ongoing relief, rehabilitation and restoration measures in the affected areas.

Officials said the CM is expected to issue directions for expediting assistance and ensuring timely support to those impacted by the natural calamity.
