When a newborn enters the world, his struggling phases start till the end. Either the worldly tensions or personal expertise, every individual with lots of confusion is common. The struggle to talk, the struggle to walk and knowing the world is for real the struggles a person start his\her life with.
One of the biggest struggling phase in life is choosing a right career and future for every human right now. As far as India is concerned, the education system is totally different from foreign countries and foreign systems. The system here shows us the ways to various paths but where these paths lead us is almost as unknown and uncertain as the history of world is. The first phase start with the alphabets and words, which seems easiest followed by some interesting subjects till we clear matric.
The real difficulty starts while choosing the career options after metrics, the person is almost unknown to the problems coming. The students almost fascinates when seeing the big and luxurious coaching institutes and dreaming themselves in white coat and stethoscope. The students who passed science through notes go with the science after wrong and inappropriate councelling. There are almost three types of students in science stream; one who studies for passion, one who studies for fashion and one who studies it under inappropriate pressure of either teachers, parents, friends or councelling cells. The number of students pay fair attention and devotion to science but some almost carry it as burden. The main motive after choosing science is to clear entrance examinations and appear in MBBS colleges and NIT’s and IIT’s. They work really hard for good results in exams with a concept of its the only hardwork they have to work for. This is the main reason of future failing as the real hardwork is needed in colleges and institutions. The doctors are the saviours of life and this profession really need some good gems to do justice with the profession. “We must build this concept that only clearing NEET examinations never gave us right to call ourselves doctors.” The other misconception we live with is that we never dreamt of other professional courses that are as important as doctors are for humanity.
Those who take science under parental and councelling pressure never justifies their role in field of science. The parents need to understand that it is not the alphabets of pre-nursery which are the only way to head forward. One who loves literature will always try to found fiction and poems in theory and practicals, and which leads to mass confusion and depression in students, leading to suicide or quitting studies. If someone is interested in business studies it will never bother him\her how long the answers for the questions are, how boring the classrooms are, he’ll always enjoy that boredom with joy.
Arts is the most interesting subject or stream to be chosen after 10th standard but the moral of arts stream is bought down by the ill mentality of the society as they think arts is for poor and weak students wherever arts stream conducts the toughest and highest level of examination like IAS, IPS etc. It’s actually we people who bring this mentality to the environment. Students after opting arts stream doesn’t work fairly with their work and take this subject for granted, which causes them a huge penalty because every stream you choose you’ve to work very hard to achieve or fulfill your dreams. If an arts student studies just to pass exam and get a degree it’s if no use because this field requires maximum knowledge to get a job.
According to the American Psychological Association, teenage students are reporting levels of stress in recent years that exceed those of adults. The problem is only exacerbated by teens who don’t have an adequate gauge on just how much stress they may be facing and the long-term consequences that come with it. The main reason for this pressure is parental expectations, emotional imbalance, stress of doing good in class when you’re not even grasping some basic tips from your teacher or from a concerned subject. Nowadays colleges and schools have co-cirricular activities, festival fests, blog writing competitions, even competition in every field and every subject, to which a non-interested students fail and feel ashamed and deprive into depression and anxiety. In today’s competitive era everything depends on merit, poor grades means no job, everyone has to dig deeper to get something big, and you can only do it if you’re wholly and solely in this, if you’re not made for that stuff, it will never let anyone bloom.
Have you seen any person whose top priority is sports? Yes, ofcourse a number of people are there, but instead of working on their talent they are messed up about the future. No one make them understand that sports is a good future and career too. Have not we seen the God of cricket, Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar who failed his 10th class and still is top of the table. He worked on his dream and passion instead of choosing wrong future and stream. Every stream and subject is best but for the people who are made for it, a literature lover will never enjoy physics and a logical person will never enjoy fiction. One of the renowned poet and writer of Kashmiri language Asif Tariq Bhat renowned his thoughts about choosing kashmiri literature as future and career; he said, “when I switched from Medical to Kashmiri my Mom didn’t talked to me for one month but later when she got to know why I choose this subject, she understood it and things were getting okay day by day. Right now everyone is happy. When asked about the failures he faced he added,”Failure is real success, if you won’t fail, you won’t get to know yourself. You won’t get to know where you stand! I choose Kashmiri because it was like my mind is made for it. I always wanted to provide something to my literature and to choose Kashmiri as subject this was getting easier for me. We have lot of science books, mathematics books or other books in the market but for Kashmiri we have few. So my take was don’t go with that what’s available rather go with that what’s not and what you can provide to literature and society. Be a helper and learner, always. He’s now serving his subject the best service he’s made for and has made his name in good and famous poets and writers of this era.
The real talk of the hour is that nothing can be worst for a person whose throbed with the expectations and pressure. Everyone should understand his capabilities and calibre to cope up with the future. Students should go with there meets and needs instead of going with trends and big unsuccessful dreams. Parents should never pressurize pupils according to their wants instead should support them where they stand. The less money and satisfaction is really precious than the more money and frustrated mind and soul.
