Clubs Taekwondo Championship held at Gindun Stadium Srinagar

Srinagar, April 21 The Clubs Taekwondo Championship was held at Gindun Sports Stadium, Rajbagh, Srinagar on April 20 and 21.

The event was organised by Indoor Taekwondo Academy and saw participation from different clubs. Players competed in various categories during the two-day programme.

On the opening day, IPS officer Aditi Verma attended as chief guest. Arjumand Makhdoomi and District Srinagar Taekwondo Association President Nissar Hussain were present as special guests. They addressed the participants and spoke about the role of sports among youth.

On the second day, Saadat Aslam Wani, Chairman of Team Red NGO, attended the closing ceremony as chief guest. He was joined by Farhan Qureshi, cyclist Adil Telli and junior sports scientist Asif Ahmad.
