Jammu, Feb 9 : Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday congratulated the Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Team on their historic victory over Madhya Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy, which has secured them a place in the semi-finals of the prestigious domestic tournament.

In a message, the Chief Minister lauded the team’s spirited performance and resilience, calling the win a proud moment for the entire Union Territory. He said the achievement reflects the growing strength of sports and grassroots talent in J&K.

The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to the team for their semi-final match scheduled to be played on February 15, expressing confidence that the players would continue to perform with determination and discipline.

He also appreciated the efforts of the coaching staff and support teams, and hoped the success would inspire more youth in the region to take up sports professionally. 🏏
