Jammu, August 3: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah attended the 9th Convocation of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST), Jammu, where he lauded the institution’s role in advancing agricultural research and education in the region.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister praised the remarkable contributions of the university’s scientists, faculty, and students, emphasizing their role in driving innovation and sustainable agricultural practices in Jammu & Kashmir.

“In today’s evolving agricultural landscape, our research must remain farmer-centric. We must empower our farmers with the latest knowledge, technologies, and climate-resilient solutions to build a truly self-reliant Jammu & Kashmir,” Omar Abdullah stated.
