In his felicitation message, the Chief Minister said that the message of Alamdar-e-Kashmir remains deeply relevant in contemporary times as it has been through the ages. He described Sheikh Nooruddin Noorani (RA) as a symbol of communal harmony, unity and spiritual enlightenment, whose teachings continue to inspire people across faiths.

“Sheikh-ul-Alam (RA) is revered as a beacon of peace and religious devotion. People fondly call him Nund Reshi because his message transcends sectarian boundaries and touches every heart,” Omar Abdullah said, adding that the values preached by the revered saint form the foundation of Kashmir’s composite culture and ethos.

The Chief Minister also prayed for peace, prosperity and well-being of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, urging them to follow the path of compassion, simplicity and tolerance as shown by Sheikh Nooruddin Noorani (RA).
