Ahmedabad, July 31: In a significant outreach effort, Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today held an interactive meeting with prominent members of the business communities from both Jammu & Kashmir and Gujarat in Ahmedabad.

The meeting, held on the sidelines of the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF), served as a platform for open dialogue on investment opportunities, industry challenges, and collaborative ventures between the two regions.
Addressing the gathering, CM Omar Abdullah reaffirmed his government’s commitment to creating a vibrant, inclusive, and investor-friendly ecosystem in Jammu & Kashmir. He assured the participants of full institutional support and facilitation for those looking to invest or expand operations in the Union Territory.
“We welcome all genuine investment and enterprise. Jammu & Kashmir is open for business, and we are focused on ensuring ease of doing business, policy stability, and an enabling environment for innovation and growth,” the Chief Minister said.
Business leaders from both states appreciated the initiative and expressed interest in sectors such as tourism, handicrafts, food processing, renewable energy, and IT-enabled services. Several participants highlighted the need for inter-state collaboration and knowledge exchange to unlock mutual economic potential.
