Jammu, Jan 12: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday walked from his residence to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office Jammu to chair a scheduled administrative review meeting, officials said.

Opting to travel on foot instead of using an official convoy, the Chief Minister drew attention as he headed to the DC Office for the review. Senior civil and police officials were present at the meeting, during which key governance and public service issues in the Jammu region were discussed.

Officials said the review proceeded as planned, with the Chief Minister taking stock of ongoing works and issuing necessary directions | Kashmir Pen
