SRINAGAR | In a graceful and intimate ceremony held in Srinagar, Hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah released the much-anticipated coffee table book “Valleys of Jammu and Kashmir” authored by Mahmood Ahmad Shah. The event was attended by a select gathering of notable figures from the tourism, trade, commerce, and adventure sectors, along with respected members of the media.
The function, though modest in scale, was marked by a dignified charm and cultural significance. Hon’ble CM was joined by his advisor Nasir Aslam Wani, who applauded the book’s contribution to the understanding and promotion of Jammu and Kashmir’s diverse natural and cultural landscape.
The foreword of the book has been penned by renowned adventure expert and author Mr. Garry Jeremy Weare, lending the publication a distinguished international perspective.
The coffee table book offers a visually rich and insightful portrayal of the valleys of Jammu and Kashmir, aiming to inspire both exploration and preservation of the region’s unique geography and heritage.
