Mumbai, Jan 16: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday visited the IICT–NFDC Campus in Mumbai and interacted with creative and film sector professions, highlighting Jammu & Kashmir’s vast potential as an emerging destination for film tourism and creative industries.

In a post on X, Office of CM wrote, “Chief Minister visited the IICT–NFDC Campus in Mumbai and interacted with creative and film sector professionals, highlighting Jammu & Kashmir’s vast potential as an emerging destination for film tourism and creative industries.”

“He noted the need for structured skilling and upskilling of J&K youth in Animation, VFX, Gaming, Comics and Extended Reality, and stressed early collaboration with IICT to create national-level training opportunities for young talent from J&K.”
