The committee has been tasked with looking into complaints and reports relating to alleged indiscipline and activities deemed detrimental to the party’s interests in Jammu and Kashmir.

The move comes amid growing discussions within the party over organisational issues and internal differences in the Union Territory. However, the AICC statement did not specify the individuals or incidents that prompted the constitution of the enquiry panel.
