A policeman was hospitalised in critical conditions after he fell off a moving Rakshak (vehicle) in Kralgund area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

An official told that a policeman part of a team escorting SHO Kralgund, fell off vehicle.

Identifying him as one Khurshid Ahmad Malik son of Abdul Ahad Malik, a resident of Hangah Mawer, the official said the cop has suffered critical injuries in the incident.

He was immediately rushed to District Hospital Handwara from where he was referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar, where his condition continues to remain critical, the official added. (GNS)
