Coronavirus: Primary schools, cinemas, anganwari centres closed in 5 Jammu districts till March 31

Jammu , March 11, 2020

Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday said that all primary schools, cinemas and anganwari centres will remain closed in five districts of Jammu region till March 31, in view of the coronavirus scare.

“All Primary schools, Cinema Halls and Anganwari centres in the 5 districts of  Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Reasi and Udhampur to be closed till March 31,” announced the government spokesman, Rohit Kansal on Twitter.

A woman has tested positive for the virus in Jammu while dozens of persons have been quarantined to prevent the spread of the novel disease that has left thousands dead across the world, majority of them in China.
