‘Court complex comprising 300 kanals is without public parking’

Srinagar, Aug 3,: Traders Federation have expressed resentment for having no public parking at the recently inaugurated court complex at Moomin Abad Batamaloo. The traders alleged that due to lack of public parking, the people visiting court Complex Park their vehicles outside the shops, that creates inconvenience to them.
Traders Federation president Ajaz Shahdhar told CNS that tall claims of the government that the court complex is first of its kind in Asia, have fallen flat since there is no public parking place for the local public despite of having 300 Kanals of land in its premises.
“No parking for public has been provided inside the court complex and in return all vehicles are parked on the roadside in front of the shopkeepers who cannot carry out their day to day business and hence, are deprived of their rights to earn their livelihood.”
Traders Federation appealed to the concerned authorities to look into the matter and create a parking slot for the public. (CNS)
