Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Mr. Showkat Aijaz Bhat today conducted a meeting and took stock of measures for the containment of covid-19 in the district.

The meeting was attended by ADDC, ADC,CMO, ACR, Dy. CMO, and others officers. All the incharge officers of various administrative quarantine centres were also present in the meeting.

Deputy Commissioner directed all the incharge officers to monitor record of all the people present in their respective Quarantine Centres and ensure their testing and wellbeing. The Deputy Commissioner also directed the district administration to provide PPE kits, gloves, maks etc to all the incharge officers for their protection.

He also directed to ensure presence of an officers incharge (Patwaris, storekeeper) 24×7 in various buffers zones to ensure supply of essential commodities and to address any medical emergency.

The DC also constituted surveillance teams to keep vigil of various administrative Quarantine centers particularly during night.
