Covid-19 fall out : Paid public parks closed for public

Authorities on Sunday ordered the closure of all paid public parks in wake of rising cases of Covid-19 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Directorate of Information and Public Relations in a tweet informed that: “Due to the prevailing COVID situation in J&K, State Executive Committee, in the exercise of the powers conferred upon it under section 24 of Disaster Management Act,2005, hereby orders that all paid public parks in the UT of J&K shall remain closed for visitors till further orders.”

Last year as well public parks were closed for general public in April after the outbreak of pandemic.
