A criminal was arrested in the border belt of Jammu district, police said today, adding a revolver and four live cartridges was seized from his possesion.

Davinder Kumar alias Rahul was arrested last night from Chak Mohd Yar village in R S Pura and a major plot of him killing someone has been foiled, they said.
Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested the criminal after recovering a loaded revolver having four live cartridges inside, and three sharp-edged weapons from him, the police said.
A case has been registered against the accused and he is being interrogated, they said.
