Srinagar, Oct 2, 2017, Kashmir Pen: Besides chopping off her braid, the unidentified criminals on Monday snatched a golden chain of a pregnant lady in Magam area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Reports said that two unidentified criminals masquerading as beggars entered into the house of one Munir Hussain at Mulbushan village.
Witnesses told CNS that while finding the lady alone in the house, they sprayed some chemicals on her face as a result she lost conscience. “The criminals not only stole her golden chain but also chopped off her braid,” they said.
The incident created panic in the village.
Another braid chopping incident occurred at Laddi village of Shopian district. The victim was identified as Sabi Jan daughter of Reyaz Ahmed.
The unabated braid chopping incidents have created fear psychosis across Kashmir while police is still clueless.
