CUS holds first meeting of the Proctorial Board

Srinagar October 14 : The maiden meeting of the Proctorial Board Cluster University of Srinagar was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Ajaz Kanth, Chief Proctor on 13th October, 2022. He impressed upon the board members to provide an ambient academic atmosphere to the student community in the campus for their overall career and personality development. work towards ensuring student friendly campuses with a special focus on maintaining discipline and security.

In this meeting, several issues like maintaining discipline, security of students, registration of vehicles, and regulating entry of the visitors were discussed and it was resolved to work in tandem with the discipline monitoring committees of the constituent colleges.

The Vice-Chancellor along with Dean Academic Affairs and Dean Science briefly participated in the meeting and stressed upon the members to work towards the promotion of academic excellence in a free and secure environment. He impressed upon faculty members to act as mentors of students and ensure effective redressal of their grievances. The meeting was attended by Proctors, Deputy Proctors and Assistant Proctors of different constituent colleges of the university.
