Cyber Police Station Kashmir on Saturday have claimed to have took a cognizance of hatred video posted on social media.
Cyber police station has reliably learnt that one facebook user has uploaded video clips wherein the subject is seen addressing general public by using language invoking disaffection against nation.
The statement said videos have been uploaded to bring hatred and contempt against the Government
established by law and intended to outrage feelings of law-abiding citizens and promoting enmity between different groups. The said activity of thesubject is prejudicial to maintenance of peace and harmony, intends to outrage religious feelings of different classes
Accordingly, FIR No. 07/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered and investigation is set into motion.
General public is advised not to circulate fake news/hatred on social media platforms. Any person found indulging in such activities will be dealt with strictly under Law, it said
