“As a social organisation it is also assisting in relief work and providing support to medical care facilities,” statement added.

A statement from the organisation also reads: “on the recommendation of doctors an oxygen concentrator bank has been created that has 8 to 10 concentrators for patients afflicted with covid 19 virus who may need oxygen support either in hospitals or at home. Also personal protective equipment (PPE )has been donated to hospitals and health care workers throughout the valley . Hospitals in Baramulla Pulwama and ganderbal have so far been given around 250 PPEs . More PPEs are being procured to support the health care workers.”

Darul khair is also distributing food and other relief items among the needy either directly on confirmation of those in need or in collaboration with local masjid committees in mohallas and localities, statement said.

” Most of our relief work is in downtown and adjoining areas of srinagar .

We pray to almighty Allah that all those people in the frontline and those supporting them stay safe in his protection and may Allah deliver us from this pandemic,” statement added.
