Darul Uloom Gutted In Fire In Verinag’s Rein Chowgund

Fire & Emergency Services, police and locals douse blaze; no loss of life or injury reported

Srinagar, Sep 15 : A Darul Uloom building was gutted in a fire incident on Tuesday night in the Rein Chowgund area of Verinag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Reports reaching news agency stated that, a fire broke out in the building of the Darul Uloom located at Rein Chowgund, following which Fire & Emergency Services personnel, a police party and locals rushed to the spot and doused the blaze.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. There is no report of any loss of life or injury in the incident.

However, the Darul Uloom building sustained damage due to the fire, as per officials.
