DC Budgam constitutes “Mobile Task-Force” to monitor implementation of digital services

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, S F Hamid today chaired a meeting of officers to take stock of Budgam e-Governance Agency (Be-GA) for implementation of prompt online services in the district.

The DC took a detailed review of online services delivered under the aegis of Be-GA.

The chair was apprised that Be-GA was formed as a society in 2012 under his chairmanship with ADC, CPO, CEO, CMO, ACP, DIO Informatics as its members.

The DC said that the primary objective of this agency is to coordinate regarding e-Governance projects in a transparent, convenient and citizen friendly manner using information technology so that more accountability and affordability in public service delivery is achieved.

SF Hamid said all the online services of the district needs to be cross checked and thus constituted a five member Mobile Task Force team which shall visit various offices in the district and check the performance of the online services.

This is worth mentioning that Budgam e-Governance Agency (Be-GA) is a district level body that would work under the overall umbrella of J&K e-Governance Agency J&K e-GA.The agency is registered under The J&K Societies Act,1998.

District Administration shall provide all necessary support and assistance needed in successful implementation of online services aimed at promoting Good Governance, the DC added.

Among others, CPO Budgam Rafiq Ahmad, CEO, CMO, ACP, DIO and various other officers/officials were present in the meeting.
