DC Budgam inspects status of computerization of PACs in the district

The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Budgam, Akshay Labroo today visited various Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS), and inspected computerization and availability of computer hardware given to the PACS.

Among other PACS, the DC also inspected MPCS Bemina, MPCS Sheikhpora, and MPCS Budgam and reviewed their functioning as Common Service Centres (CSCs) in the district.Later, the DC also interacted with a gathering of PACS members at an awareness programme at Community Hall Budgam and encouraged them for coordinating and tying up with National level and established cooperatives.Addressing, the members of the PACS, the DC exhorted the members to create model PACS that can serve as examples for other cooperatives in the district.
