Reviews snow clearance measures

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today visited the upper reaches of Kangan area to have firsthand appraisal of the snow clearance measures.

The DC on the occasion visited various villages including Gund, Ganiwan, Mammer and stressed on the concerned to mobilize men and machinery so that the people may not face any inconvenience. He directed for clearing all roads and links in the area within the shortest possible time.

During the visit, the concerned briefed the DC about the progress of snow clearance and was informed that all roads of the Sub-Division are through besides snow clearance from the other link road is also in full swing.

The DC directed for facilitating every basic facility including water and power supply in a hassle free manner. He stressed for adhering to the power curtailment schedule in letter and spirit.
