DC Jammu orders salary deduction of Revenue official

Deputy Commissioner Jammu Sachin Kumar Vaishya has ordered the deduction of three days’ salary of a Patwari for wrongfully rejecting a mutation application.

An enquiry is to be conducted by Additional District Magistrate, Shishir Gupta to decide further course of action to be taken against the erring official.

The DC emphasised the importance of adhering to the Public Service Guarantee Act, directing the entire Revenue Department staff to attend to public applications diligently.

The district administration has assigned strict deadlines at each level of the revenue application process to ensure timely service delivery.
