DC Kupwara visits fire victims in Kalaroos, assures all possible help from admin

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara Dr. Doifode Sagar Dattatray Sunday visited far-flung Narizub hamlet of Kalaroos and met the 7 affected families whose 3 residential houses were damaged in a fire incident recently.

The Deputy Commisioner on the occasion expressed sorrow over the damage of the residential houses and other property and assured the fire suffers of all possible support from administration.

Pertinently, on the directions of DC Kupwara, District Adminstration has already provided an immediate cash assistance of Rs.60,000 to affected families under the Red Cross Fund.

Moreover, Adminstration has also provided 50 blankets, 7 Kitchen sets, Ration, cooking stoves, buckets, and 20 pairs of clothes among the affected families.

On the instructions of Deputy Commisioner Kupwara, SDRF cases for each affected family has been prepared.

Pertinently on the intervening night of May 17, 18 two residential houses were fully damaged and one was partially damaged in a tragic fire incident at remote Narizab hamlet of Kalaroos leaving 7 families affected.
